One year ago the Wabash cross country team listed winning the North Coast Athletic Conference men's title as one of its primary goals. This year the Little Giants have moved that item from a goal to an expectation.

Wabash faced eight other ranked Division III cross country teams in what the Little Giants plan to be an early preview of the national championship meet at Saturday's AAE Invitational at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Wabash College is enjoying its most successful fall sports season ever. Three teams --- cross country, football, and soccer --- are all ranked in the top-15 of their respective national polls.

Wabash finished ninth overall and second among the Division III men's cross country teams competing Friday afternoon at the Notre Dame Invitational.

Wabash took a tour of the 2014 NCAA DIII Cross Country Nationals course Saturday. The Little Giants were one of 31 teams to run at the Wilmington College Pre-Nationals Race, finishing 18th overall.

The Wabash cross country team placed six runners in the top-10 Friday evening to capture the 2014 Indiana Intercollegiate "Little State" title.
