The Wabash track and field team jumped 10 spots in the latest computer rankings released by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
A small group represented Wabash at Friday's Rose-Hulman Twilight Track and Field Meet, earning a fourth-place finish in the team scoring. Another group of Little Giants raced at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, Ohio Friday and Saturday.
Wabash student-athletes Aaron Schuler and Derek De St Jean were honored for their performances at Saturday's All-Indiana DIII Track and Field Championship meet by being named the Men's Track and Men's Field Athletes of the Meet.
Team depth, along with record-setting and season-best performances, provided Wabash its second consecutive Indiana NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship held at DePauw University.
